What is juvenile life insurance?
A juvenile whole life insurance policy allows you to protect your child or grandchild from an early age for the rest of his or her life. And as they continue to grow, it also protects them from becoming uninsurable in the future due to health or occupation.

Why does my child or grandchild need to be insured?
Your child or grandchild is precious to you and the future of your family. It’s only natural to want to protect them. By purchasing juvenile life insurance at your child’s young age, you’ll pay lower premiums and secure their ability to be insured in the future. This policy can last a lifetime, providing financial support later on in life. And this policy earns cash value.

As my child or grandchild gets older, will the premiums increase?
The premium rates are guaranteed to
never increase for the life of the policy. And when your child or grandchild turns 25 years old, the face value of the policy
doubles – and there’s still no increase to the premium!

Can this coverage ever be canceled?
United of Omaha wants to make sure your child always has the coverage they need. And as long as the premiums are paid when due, the coverage will not be canceled.

What does this policy guarantee?
With juvenile life insurance, the premium rates are based on your child’s age and coverage is guaranteed until age 100 (125 in Florida). For as long as you own the policy, premiums will
never increase! And, when your child or grandchild turns 25, the face amount of the policy doubles – with no additional premium due. Once your child is approved for juvenile life insurance, you will have the option to purchase additional whole life insurance for your child without any proof of insurability -- even if your child's health changes, regardless of the career your child chooses to pursue. (The policy explains when and how these options for additional insurance can be exercised.)

Does the policy cover all causes of death?
Yes, except for suicide, while sane or insane (in New York, sane or insane does not apply), during the first two years after the policy is issued (one year in CO & ND; in MO, benefits will not be paid if evidence shows suicide was intended at the time of policy purchase). Instead, all premium payments will be returned.

Will the beneficiary be taxed on the money they receive?
Under the current federal law, the money your beneficiary receives will
not be subject to federal income tax.
